Ron Campos, P.E. | President/CEO
Ron has over 28 years of diversified experience in structural, civil and seismic engineering. He has been employed with various multi-discipline engineering companies in the Bay Area before starting his own company, KLC Consulting Engineers & Architects, Inc.
Ron has extensive knowledge in various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical/piping. Ron has been exposed to and is knowledgeable with the different governing codes such as: IBC 2012, CBC 2013 and ADA, concrete,steel, masonry and timber codes.
Ron has extensive knowledge in the application of various civil/structural software packages including: STAAD, SAP 2000, ETABS, SAFE, RISA 2D & 3D, ENERCALC for static and dynamic analysis of complex structures. He is proficient in spreadsheet programming and conversion of hand type calculations into customized computer output that can be easily modified, revised and reused to speed up calculations.
Ron’s designs have included different kinds of structural materials such as wood, masonry, concrete, steel and aluminum in both gravity and lateral resisting elements for buildings and miscellaneous structures including fire rehabilitation, as-built drawings, structural designs and calculations.
Ron is well versed in different types of structural systems of buildings and non-building structures, including their different limitations and acceptance criteria as stipulated in the ASCE and IBC/CBC codes.
Ron has been integrating “green” building technology into most of his ongoing projects. Hence, most of the specified construction materials are “green” and renewable.

Maria has more than 28 years of diversified drafting and design experience in architectural, structural, civil and miscellaneous engineering discipline. She has been employed to various Architectural and Structural Engineering companies in the Bay Area as a CAD manager/ Senior Drafting person.
CAD Manager- In charge of production and drafting scheduling for this new office, created all typical details and Office Cad Standards, handled 6 drafters, and was responsible for scheduling of work and quality control of outgoing projects.
Maria has an extensive knowledge of AutoCAD Software and knowledge of Revit 2012. Maria has been a CAD manager for several structural firms with number of people ranging from 5 thru 16.

Ricardo has more than 30 years of diversified experience in structural and civil engineering projects that includes power plants, research laboratories, oil and metal refineries and mining and metals projects, coal gasification projects, and wastewater treatment plants.
Extensive hands-on experience in the use of computer softwares such as STAAD, STRUDL, SAP, and ETABS for static and dynamic analysis of complex structures. Worked on a variety of projects involving seismic assessments, retrofits, risk assessments, upgrades and modernization.
Designed power plant major equipment foundations (steam turbine generators, boilers, gas turbine generators, transformers, etc.) and performed numerous seismic analyses both for new construction and existing equipment anchorages and structures, pipe racks and tanks. Performed design of structures and foundation for the petroleum industries and material handling structures for mining industries.

Bart has been working in the field of architecture in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1980, and is acting in the capacity of a Principal/Owner in his architectural firms for the past 9 years. His responsibilities have encompassed both the management of the business and the design quality of the architecture produced by the firm. Of his over twenty five years of experience, he has excelled in building design of various types, and acquiring site development projects, which begin with master planning all the way through to construction documentation and administration. His clients have included private developers, schools, high-tech corporations, commercial, industrial, retail, residential and dental/medical offices. He is nationally recognized dental office designer by American Dental Association in the Bay Area. He assisted these clients with site selection, budgeting, master planning, site development, architectural design, construction documentation, and construction administration.
